Dwight Yorke "missing out" on knowing his son Harvey

Former glamour model Katie Price has revealed that ex-Manchester United player Dwight Yorke has not tried to form a relationship with his son Harvey.

Price has written in her autobiography Love, Lipstick And Lies, which is being serialised by The Sun, that her 11-year-old son, who suffers from a number of disorders including Autism, has not had his biological father in his life.

Price has claimed that Yorke first spoke to Harvey on his 10th birthday and later met up with him and her in Manchester in November last year.

"It wasn't a friendly meeting and I didn't hear from Dwight afterwards," wrote Price.

"It's such a shame. All I can say is that he is missing out on a very special little boy.

"Personally, I think he is scared of seeing Harvey...Dwight should try. He would get so much love in return."

Yorke previously disputed he was Harvey's father.
