New Nike Tiger Woods advert sparks controversy

Woods angers fans with new ad

A new Nike online advert involving world number one golfer Tiger Woods has sparked controversy among fans.

The advert depicts Tiger Woods with the caption 'winning takes care of everything', which is a phrase he has often used when answering questions from reporters since 2009.

Following the release of the advert on Facebook, some social network users have accused it of being distasteful considering the previous infidelity rumours that surrounded the golfer.

Woods's five-year marriage to Elin Nordegren broke down following reports that the 37-year-old had been involved in a string of affairs with other women.

Despite attracting negative reaction, the advert has received over 8,700 'likes' on Facebook.
