Bradley Wiggins voted Britain's 'wittiest celebrity'

Tour de France winner Bradley Wiggins has been chosen as Britain's 'wittiest celebrity' by over 2,000 members of the public.

The 32-year-old, who clinched an Olympic gold medal just weeks after his triumph in Paris, topped the list of 25 celebrities excluding comedians.

The poll, which promoted TV channel Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival, showed that Wiggins has come out with the most humorous quips, while London mayor Boris Johnson came second.

Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway also found his way onto the list.
