Shane Warne parties with singer Ed Sheeran in Australia

British singer Ed Sheeran has revealed that he spent a night out partying with cricket legend Shane Warne in Australia.

During a promotional tour Down Under, 'The A Team' singer Sheeran, who also met Warne's daughter Brooke, has claimed that he remains in touch with the former spin-bowler.

"We were out, we went to the Kylie gig and then ended up out with Shane Warne," he told Nova radio. "He just texted me a selfie of himself. He's like 'haven't slept mate'. I really like him, he's a hero."

Upon meeting the 44-year-old cricketer at the weekend, Sheeran, 23, posted a photo of the pair on Instagram with the message: "Trying to perfect my spin bowling technique."
