Lindsey Vonn: 'Tiger Woods and I relate to each other'

Olympic US skier Lindsey Vonn has revealed that her relationship with Tiger Woods works because they are similar people.

The 28-year-old and the world number one golfer went public with their relationship in March following a number of months of dating.

"We're similar," Vonn said at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York, according to the Daily Mail. "We're both at the top of our sports, and we relate really well to each other."

Vonn is Woods's first public girlfriend since he was divorced by his wife Elin Nordegren in 2010 following a string of alleged affairs.
