United Airlines find Rory McIlroy's golf clubs

World number six Rory McIlroy is reunited with his golf clubs after they were lost by an airline on his way to the Irish Open.

United Airlines have returned Rory McIlroy's golf clubs after losing the Northern Irishman's baggage on a flight to Dublin earlier this week.

The world number six took to Twitter to urge the airline to find his clubs in time for the Irish Open, which gets underway today.

After receiving the lost item, McIlroy updated his followers:

McIlroy finished tied for 23rd at last week's US Open.
