UFC star Jon Jones turns himself in after alleged 'hit-and-run accident'

UFC star Jon Jones has reportedly surrendered to police after a warrant was issued for his arrest in relation to an alleged hit-and-run accident in Albuquerque.

The 27-year-old has been charged with a misdemeanour hit-and-run after a pregnant woman was injured when two cars collided.

According to TMZ, Jones has turned himself in to the police and is now in custody at Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center.

The woman required hospital treatment, but has not suffered life-threatening injuries.
