UFC champ Ronda Rousey meets Manny Pacquiao to give support

UFC champ gives backing to Pacquiao

UFC women's champion Ronda Rousey has pledged her support to Manny Pacquiao ahead of the Filipino's mega-fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr next month.

The 36-year-old will take on the undefeated American in the ring at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 2, in what has been dubbed as the biggest fight of the century.

During a session at Pacquiao's training camp in Los Angeles, Rousey, who is the undefeated UFC bantamweight title holder, popped in to give her backing and pose for a photo with the boxer.

Pacquiao uploaded the picture to Instagram, along with the message: "Thank you for visiting me @rondarousey and for your support. God Bless!"

Reports emerged last month claiming that Rousey has received a free ticket to the fight by boxing promoter Bob Arum.
