Mike Tyson: 'I won't let myself be alone with a woman'

Mike Tyson says that he will not be alone in a room with a woman because of his previous rape conviction.

Retired heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson has revealed that he will not allow himself to be alone in a room with a woman following his past.

The 47-year-old was convicted of rape in 1992 and spent three years in jail, while still maintaining that he never assaulted Desiree Washington.

Despite being punished over 20 years ago, Tyson has claimed that the only woman he trusts is his wife Lakiha Spencer.

"Apart from my wife, I won't be alone in a room with a woman any more, even if they are my friend," Tyson told The Sun. "I don't want anyone saying I looked at them wrong."

Tyson struggled with alcohol, drugs and anger issues during his career.
