Tyson Fury 'to be questioned by police'

Greater Manchester Police are reportedly planning to question world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury after a complaint was made about the boxer's homophobic remarks.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, the 27-year-old, who is nicknamed the 'Gypsy King' due to his traveller background, equated homosexuality and abortion to paedophilia.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the remarks were reported to police as a hate crime at 10.30am this morning.

An investigation has been launched, meaning that officers will approach Fury and take a statement from him.
