Dutch tax authorities claim nine properties belonging to Ruud Gullit

Tax authorities claim nine of Gullit's properties

Dutch tax authorities have launched a claim on nine properties owned by former AC Milan player Ruud Gullit, as well as a parking spot.

The 50-year-old, who had a two-year managerial stint at Chelsea, is believed to have failed to pay income tax in 2010.

"The Dutch Tax and Customs Administration has taken this step in light of the financial settlement of the divorce," Gullit said in a statement, according to the Daily Mail.

"I regret this. I am doing everything I can to solve this as quickly as possible."

One of the nine properties in Amsterdam is said to be the home of Gullit's estranged third wife Estelle Cruijff.
