Strictly Come Dancing professional Kristina Rihanoff is confident that gymnast Louis Smith will survive the public vote on the BBC One show this weekend.

Strictly Come Dancing professional Kristina Rihanoff believes that Olympic gymnast Louis Smith is guaranteed votes from the public regardless of his dancing ability.

The 23-year-old took to the dancefloor for the first time last weekend and will face the public vote this week when he performs for the second time in the BBC One series.

"He is an amazing athlete and a great dancer and he can probably just stand there without a shirt on and he'll be voted in just for that," Rihannoff told Yahoo.

Smith won a bronze and silver medal in the London 2012 Games in the summer.
