Stricker concerned for brother's health

US golfer Steve Stricker has revealed concerns about the health of his brother, who is awaiting a liver transplant.

The 46-year-old's brother Scott, who is four years older than his sibling, was taken to a Wisconsin hospital in early January, and has been in intensive care ever since.

"He's walking a tightrope is what they're telling me," Sky Sports News quotes Stricker as saying. "He needs a liver. He's holding his own, but this can't last forever. Hopefully, we get one soon."

Stricker has admitted that he is likely to miss the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship later this month as a result.
