Graeme Souness 'returns home from hospital after suspected heart attack'

Former Liverpool manager Graeme Souness reportedly returns home from hospital after undergoing minor heart surgery.

Former Liverpool manager Graeme Souness has reportedly left hospital after suffering a suspected heart attack.

The 62-year-old Scotsman, who underwent triple heart bypass surgery at the age of 38, was admitted to the Royal Bournemouth General Hospital on Friday.

According to the Daily Record, Souness had a minor heart operation over the weekend and has now returned to the Poole home that he shares with wife Karen.

His partner is quoted as saying: "He's fine. He's telling everyone he feels fine. We hope he'll be back to full health very soon."

The 62-year-old, who also managed Rangers in his career, now works as a football pundit for Sky Sports.
