Olympic bronze and silver medallist Louis Smith is expected to draw on his gymnastics skills when he takes to the dancefloor in tonight's Strictly Come Dancing.

The 23-year-old showed glimpses of what to expect on the BBC One show this evening as he practised with dance partner Flavia Cacace in a dance studio today.

The gymnast has added the splits to his Cha Cha Cha routine as he prepares to dance live for the first time to millions of viewers.

Smith won a silver medal in the pummel horse final at the London Olympic Games in the summer and clinched bronze in the team event.
