Louis Smith appreciates male and female 'Strictly' support

Olympic gymnast Louis Smith has insisted that he appreciates all support from both male and female fans.

The 23-year-old's fanbase has grown since appearing on BBC One reality show Strictly Come Dancing but he has claimed that he isn't getting carried away with it.

"I appreciate all my support whether it is male or female," Smith told the Daily Record. "It comes with the territory when you wear a leotard. I just go with it."

Smith, who won gold and silver, will contest for the show's glitterball in the final this weekend.
