Sevens player destroys camera with permanent marker

Kenya Sevens player Collins Injera damaged an expensive camera by signing his name on the lens with a permanent marker pen during a match at the weekend.

The 28-year-old scored his 200th try in a victory over Japan at the London Sevens event at Twickenham on Sunday.

After reaching the milestone, the winger celebrated by pulling a marker pen out of his sock before signing a rugby ball, but that didn't appear to be enough for Injera as he also wrote his autograph on the lens of a camera.

According to World Rugby, the stunt didn't go down well with the cameraman as his £60,000 equipment was left ruined.

Injera is one of the top career try-scorers of all time in the Sevens World Series.
