Schumacher 'sells holiday home for £2m'

Seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher has reportedly sold his Norwegian holiday home for £2m.

The 46-year-old is continuing his recovery from serious head injuries following a skiing accident back in December 2013.

The sportsman, who raced for Ferrari and Mercedes during his career, hit his head on a rock while skiing off-piste in the French Alps.

According to The Local, Schumacher's retreat, which includes a spa and cabin close to nearby ski slopes, in Trysil was bought recently for 22 million Norwegian kroner.

The former F1 driver, who resides in Switzerland, bought the lodge himself back in the 1990s.
