Schumacher remains "stable"

Michael Schumacher remains in a "stable" condition on Thursday morning after spending four nights at the University Hospital of Grenoble, following a skiing accident in France.

No official update is expected today from either doctors or his manager Sabine Kehm as there have been no fresh developments.

The German remains in a medically-induced coma after undergoing emergency brain surgery.

Kehm told reporters on Wednesday: "At the moment, he is stable."

Schumacher's wife Corinna, daughter Gina Maria and son Mick are said to be at his bedside.
