Schumacher 'cries at sound of family voices'

Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher reportedly sheds tears when he recognises the voices of his loved ones.

The retired F1 driver, who turned 36 years old on January 3, continues his recovery from a serious skiing accident.

Schumacher spent nine months in an induced coma after he hit his head on a rock while skiing off-piste in the French Alps on December 29, 2013.

According to Italian newspaper Corriere della Serra, Schumacher cries when he hears the familiar voices of his wife and children.

The former sportsman's manager Sabine Kehm said last week that her client faces a "hard fight" to recover from the serious head injuries that he suffered.
