Savage dresses in disguise for match

Former Premier League footballer Robbie Savage dressed in full disguise while playing for his childhood club Bradley Park in a division two match in the Wrexham Sunday League.

The 39-year-old, who told his teammates on the day to call him Sam, wore a prosthetic mask, wig and beard while featuring against Turf FC.

The stunt was carried out by the Match of the Day pundit as part of a piece on grassroots football for BBC's The One Show.

Savage unveiled his true identity to the opposing players at the end of the match, which ended in a 6-3 defeat for the ex-professional's side.
