Olympic gold medallist Greg Rutherford receives a rapture of applause from hoards of supporters as he struts down the catwalk at Style Birmingham Live at the weekend.

Olympic champion Greg Rutherford showed off his gold medal by strutting down the catwalk at Style Birmingham Live over the weekend.

The long-jump athlete was warmly welcomed by spectators at the Mailbox as he donned a black coat and grey scarf with his gold medal draped around his neck.

Over 3,000 people were in attendance at the fashion event, which included designs held by House of Fraser, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges.

Rutherford has been in high demand since clinching the top honour at London 2012 in the summer.
