Jamie Redknapp hit with six-month driving ban after being clocked speeding

Former Premier League footballer Jamie Redknapp is banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding.

Former Premier League footballer Jamie Redknapp has been banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding on the M25 earlier this year.

The 42-year-old, who now works as a football pundit for Sky Sports, was caught driving faster than the 50mph limit on April 15 earlier this year.

Redknapp pleaded guilty to the offence at Staines Magistrates' Court last week and was also ordered to pay a fine of £700, costs of £75 and an £80 victim surcharge.

The offence occurred between junction 11 for Chertsey and junction 10 for Wisley.
