A man wins £63,000 after predicting 12 correct football results

A man has reportedly won over £63,000 after placing a 50p bet on 12 football results with the odds at 126,322/1.

The middle-aged punter correctly predicted that Liverpool and Southampton would draw at home to Stoke City and Fulham respectively and that Tottenham Hotspur would clinch all three points over Aston Villa.

He also opted for a Celtic win over Hearts and got all of his European midweek results correct on the accumulator.

The individual, who has chosen to remain anonymous, tweeted, "I have done it" and then closed down his social network account.
