Pub to create meals dedicated to Sports Personality contenders

Pub to pay tribute to Sports Personality contenders

Pub chain Flaming Grill have created a new menu dedicated to the athletes in line for the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year award.

The pub is launching a range which will include the faces of this summer's sporting heroes placed on slabs of meat.

The likes of Andy Murray, Mo Farah and Jessica Ennis will appear on the menu in the run-up to the awards ceremony in December.

This year's contest is expected to be the tightest yet following a rich summer of sport, including Great Britain's success at the Olympics, Bradley Wiggins winning the Tour de France, Murray clinching his first Grand Slam and Europe retaining the Ryder Cup.
