Premier League player wins six-figure Lottery sum?

An un-named Premier League player has reportedly scooped more than £100,000 on the National Lottery.

A Premier League player has won a six-figure sum on the National Lottery, according to reports on Goal.com.

The player opted to take the non-publicity clause that allows winners' names to be kept secret from the press and public.

It is reported that the anonymous top-flight player matched five numbers and the bonus ball in a draw that took place before Christmas.

The prize for matching five balls plus the bonus is estimated at £100,000.
