A Premier League game on average costs £53.76, while figures in South Africa show that fans need only spend £6 on average to attend a domestic fixture.

The travel website has found that Germany offers the best value as it costs almost the same amount to travel to the country to watch a Bundesliga match as it does to go to a Premier League game, according to the Daily Star.

Spain and Portugal offer the second and third most value for money.
