Platini Museum bids for world record

Cypriot Philippos Stavrou-Platini is reportedly trying to get his Platini Museum into the Guinness World Records book.

The centre was established in Cyprus by Philippos as a tribute to former France footballer and current UEFA president Michel Platini.

The museum has been put forward for the records book for housing the most sporting memorabilia, according to BBC Sport.

The museum currently contains 21,137 objects.
