Oscar Pistorius living on tinned food after receiving death threats in prison?

Six-time Paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius is reportedly living on tinned food due to fears that fellow prisoners are trying to poison him.

The double amputee is serving a five-year sentence for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp by shooting her through a bathroom door on Valentine's Day two years ago.

According to the Daily Star, the 28-year-old has received death threats behind bars and has lost weight due to spending the majority of his £9 monthly allowance on South African vegetable stew chakalaka.

Last month, it was reported that Pistorius received new privileges at the Kgosi Mampuru jail as his prisoner status was upgraded.
