Kevin Pietersen's brother-in-law on trial for rape?

England batsman Kevin Pietersen's brother-in-law has reportedly been charged with two counts of rape and blackmail.

Samuel Taylor, who is the brother of Pietersen's wife Jessica, was arrested by police when a weapon was found buried in a wood in Preston, Lancashire.

Taylor, who used to work as a plumber, has been accused of owning a sawn-off shotgun and committing sexual assault on two separate occasions, according to The Sun.

The 28-year-old, who has reportedly not entered a plea at Preston Crown Court, will begin his trial in May.
