Olympic gold medallist Victoria Pendleton 'feeling broody'

Pendleton: 'I want to start a family'

Olympic gold medallist Victoria Pendleton has revealed that she is beginning to feel ready to start a family with her fiance Scott Gardner.

The 32-year-old retired from cycling after winning gold and silver at the London 2012 Games in the summer and has insisted that she will start focusing on having children after she marries her partner next year.

"My priority now is my family and Scott," Pendleton told LOOK magazine. "I would like a family one day and I've started feeling more broody recently, but I have a lot to do first."

Pendleton featured in this year's BBC One reality show Strictly Come Dancing but failed to make the final.
