Paul Gascoigne 'quits drinking'

England legend Paul Gascoigne has reportedly stopped drinking again following his recent relapse.

The 46-year-old was believed to have returned to his drinking ways when he was charged with assault after an alleged altercation with his ex-wife Sheryl at the Stevenage railway station.

However, Gascoigne is embarrassed by recent events and has enlisted the help of an alcohol counsellor, according to the Daily Star.

Reports have claimed that the former footballer collapsed while in a London hotel a few weeks ago.
