Olympic diver reveals fear of heights

British diver Peter Waterfield has revealed that he has a fear of heights, despite performing a routine as part of a stunt team from a 15-metre diving board.

The 32-year-old, who partnered Tom Daley in the 10m synchronised competition at the 2012 Olympics, is part of the La Quebrada High Divers who appeared on ITV's 'Britain's Got Talent' at the weekend.

Waterfield told The People: "I have this real fear that if something goes wrong I could end up hospitalised. I say a little prayer to myself."

The performance saw one diver set himself on fire before plunging into the pool below.
