Olympic cyclist powers toaster using his legs

German cyclist Robert Forstemann has taken part in a challenge to see if his legs can generate enough power to toast a piece of bread.

The former team sprint world champion, whose thighs have a 74cm circumference, attempted to power a 700-watt toaster as part of a project by the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts in Sweden.

Forstemann was part of Germany's track and mountain bike team for the 2012 Olympics in London.
