Rafael Nadal goes to Julio Iglesias concert after Wimbledon exit

Former world number one tennis star Rafael Nadal has attempted to recover from his early Wimbledon exit by attending the concert of fellow Spaniard Julio Iglesias.

The 27-year-old, who won the French Open earlier this month, did not blame a knee injury for his first-round defeat to Steve Darcis, who in turn has withdrawn from the competition with a shoulder problem.

Following his disappointment, Nadal was spotted enjoying the Iglesias concert with his girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello in Barcelona.

Nadal previously encountered Iglesias when he presented the singer with an award for being the bestselling Spanish recording artist of all time back in December 2011.
