Murray ties wedding ring to shoe

Two-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray decided to tie his wedding ring to one of his trainers during the Munich Open final on Monday.

The Scotsman, who married long-term partner Kim Sears last month, opted against wearing the platinum band on his finger during his clash against Philipp Kohlschreiber.

Cameras spotted that Murray had attached the ring to his footwear before he went on to seal a 7-6[4] 5-7 7-6[4] victory, resulting in his first ever clay-court title.

The tournament was the first Murray had competed in since getting married in his hometown of Dunblane.
