Andy Murray makes £15m switch from Adidas to Under Armour

Murray switches to Under Armour

British number one Andy Murray has swapped Adidas for Under Armour by signing a four-year deal believed to be worth around £15m with the American sportswear company.

The two-time Grand Slam winner started his career wearing Fred Perry gear, but joined Adidas in a deal thought to be worth £15m over five years.

He will now wear Under Armour's clothing, shoes and accessories from the New Year.

Other athletes who sport Under Armour gear include quarter-back Tom Brady of the NFL's New England Patriots, NBA point-guard Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, golfer Jordan Spieth and skier Lindsey Vonn.
