Andy Murray holidays in Bahamas with girlfriend Kim Sears

Wimbledon champion Andy Murray has taken a break following his triumph at SW19 by travelling to the Bahamas with girlfriend Kim Sears.

The Scotsman claimed that he needed a holiday after defeating Novak Djokovic in straight sets to become the first man since Fred Perry 77 years ago to win the men's singles title.

The 26-year-old was spotted on the island this week alongside his other half playing a game of tennis with a beach bat and ball, according to the Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, reports have claimed that the couple are poised to sign up as Burberry models.
