Andy Murray gets tennis questions wrong in pub quiz

British number one Andy Murray has revealed that he got tennis questions wrong in a pub quiz.

The Scotsman, who will try to do one better by winning Wimbledon by the end of the fortnight, was asked by friends to join their team, but the 26-year-old failed to correctly answer questions on his own sport.

"Yeah, it was a bit embarrassing," The Sun quotes Murray as saying. "There were two questions on tennis. And I got both of them wrong.

"One was the distance of the court tram lines and that was a multiple choice, and I still got it wrong."

Murray will begin his campaign at SW19 with a first-round match against Benjamin Becker.
