Former world number one golfer Rory McIlroy has reportedly called time on his relationship with tennis star Caroline Wozniacki.

There were suggestions that the Irish golfer became distracted from matters on the course during his relationship with the Dane, but at the time, the pair dismissed these claims.

However, McIlroy decided to split up with Wozniacki in a bid to focus on his career, leaving the 23-year-old devastated, according to The Telegraph.

The pair are said to have been together for two years.
