Retired jockey Tony McCoy writes off £60k Porsche in collision

Retired jockey Tony McCoy writes off his £60,000 Porsche after being involved in a road accident involving two other vehicles.

Retired jockey Tony McCoy wrote off his £60,000 Porsche after being involved in a road collision near Swindon on Wednesday.

The 41-year-old, who retired from his sport in April, was left unhurt after crashing when a car and van collided ahead of him on the M4.

Everyone, including McCoy, left the scene unhurt, but all three vehicles are said to have been written off.

"A van collided with a car in front of me and I had nowhere to go," the Daily Mail quotes McCoy as saying. "I'm fine and and everyone else involved is good, which is unbelievable really, as it was a fair old impact.

"The three vehicles are gone (written off), but it's nice to walk away from something like that."

The crash occurred at 9.30am on Wednesday.
