Tony McCoy creates online advent calendar

Champion jockey Tony McCoy has launched a racing-themed online advent calendar with The Jockey Club.

The BBC Sports Personality of the Year winner promoted his festive calendar at Lambourn in Berkshire with horse Dr. Livingstone, who was painted from neck to hoof in a Christmas jumper.

"Everyone is in good spirits over Christmas," the Daily Mail quotes McCoy as saying. "It's a great time of the year to go racing. It's a fantastic day out for the whole family and something people look forward to.

"One of the highlights of the jumps season is the William Hill King George at Kempton Park Racecourse and one I always look forward to."

The advent calendar allows people to unwrap a gift every day until December 25.
