Mayweather 'witnesses murder-suicide'

Undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr was reportedly a witness to his friend's murder-suicide during a video call.

The pound-for-pound fighter is believed to have been called by rapper Earl Hayes on FaceTime on Monday morning claiming that his wife Stephanie Moseley was having an affair.

According to TMZ, during the call, Hayes told the sportsman that he was going to kill his wife, and despite Mayweather trying to calm him down, he then pulled out a gun, shot Moseley and then took his own life.

Reports have claimed that police were called to the Plazzo East apartments in Los Angeles after screams and gunshots were heard by neighbours.
