Former Arsenal star Lukas Podolski has opened a kebab restaurant in his home city of Cologne.
Around 1,000 fans turned out to greet the ex-Germany international when he launched his new venture, Mangal Doener, this weekend.

Podolski, who will run the eatery with two co-owners, posed for publicity photos and signed autographs outside of the restaurant before it opened its doors for the first time.
The 32-year-old already had a foothold in Cologne's food and drink scene, having previously launched an ice cream parlour in the German city.
Podolski is still playing professional football and is currently plying his trade in Japan with Vissel Kobe.
