Olympic US swimmer Ryan Lochte has been dumped by his British girlfriend of four years Jaimee Hollier.

The 28-year-old, who had been in a on-and-off relationship with the junior sales manager, discovered her intentions during an episode of his E! reality show What Would Ryan Lochte Do?

The gold medallist received a phone call from the Brit claiming that she was struggling to cope with the long distance between them, according to the Daily Mail.

Lochte revealed his secret relationship earlier this month.
