Ryan Lochte confirms reality TV show discussions

US Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte has confirmed that he is in talks to launch his own reality TV show.

The 28-year-old has enjoyed a high media profile since returning from the London Games and has already filmed a cameo for teen drama series 90210.

He is also attempting to launch a series of products branded around his "Jeah!" catchphrase and is in negotiations for the lead role in top-rated dating show The Bachelor.

Now Lochte has announced plans for his own fashion line, as well as a fly-on-the-wall documentary series for the E! TV network following his endeavour.

"[The show is] real, it's not fake or anything like that," Lochte told The Daily Buzz. "It's going to be me being myself and I am going to show the world that and my new fashion line."

Lochte added that he will continue to compete professionally despite his new media commitments.
