LeBron James calls Obama "coach"

Miami Heat star LeBron James mistakenly called President Barack Obama "coach" during a visit to the White House.

The 28-year-old and his Chicago Bulls teammates attended the Washington, D.C. base to be congratulated by the President for their NBA Championship victory.

"I mean, on behalf of myself and my teammates we just want to thank you for the hospitality, for allowing us to be in the White House," said James. "I mean, we're in the White House!

"I mean, coach said, Prez said, it's real casual, so, we're kids from Chicago, Dallas, Texas, Michigan, Ohio, South Dakota, Miami, we're in the White House right now! This is like, 'Hey, mama, I made it!'"

Meanwhile, James became only the 38th player to score 20,000 points in the NBA.
