Spanish golfer Pablo Larrazabal dives into a water hazard to avoid a swarm of hornets during the second round of the Malaysian Open.

Spanish golfer Pablo Larrazabal had to dive into a lake at the Malaysian Open after being attacked by a swarm of hornets during his second round at the tournament.

The 30-year-old initially tried to swat the insects away with one of his clubs, but was forced to pause his round to dive fully-clothed into the water hazard next to the 14th green when they would not leave him alone.

According to ESPN, he needed treatment once back in the clubhouse for several stings.

Antonio Lascuna of the Philippines leads the event.
