Vitali Klitschko watches on as Ukrainian MPs trade blows in Parliament

Klitschko avoids MP brawl

WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko managed to stay out of a mass brawl in Parliament after a host of Ukrainian MPs clashed following the recent October elections.

The 41-year-old, who is the leader of the UDAR, watched on as the opposition and pro-presidential politicians fought with each other in the main rostrum in parliament.

The brawl kicked off ahead of the ruling Party of Regions' nomination for a speaker announcement but President Viktor Yanukovich's party managed to get one of their parliamentary deputies to claim the post after the fracas.

Klitschko has been involved in politics since 2005.
