Amir Khan to wear shorts worth £30,000 for Devon Alexander fight

Amir Khan will reportedly wear shorts worth £30,000 when he takes on Devon Alexander in the ring in Las Vegas this weekend.

The former WBA light-welterweight champion will don his boxing gloves for the first time since April 2013 when he defeated Mexican Julio Diaz in Sheffield.

According to the Daily Mail, Khan will debut the shorts, which have 24 carat gold thread woven through the waist band, when he walks out to the ring at the MGM Grand Garden this weekend.

The Bolton-born fighter has 28 wins and three defeats on his professional record.
